Lenovo has officially unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone in China called S5 Pro. It was introduced along along side K5 Pro and K5s mobiles.
The phone not only packs rear mounted fingerprint sensor but also supports Infrared face unlock. The device measures 154.5 x 75.45 x 7.7 mm and weighs 170 grams. It has uni-body metal design and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM Slots (nano + nano / microSD).
The Lenovo S5 Pro specs include 6.3-inch multi-touch display with 2246 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 113% sRGB colors. It has 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 mobile platform with Adreno 509 GPU.
The smartphone features in 6GB RAM and comes in options of 64GB / 128GB storage space. There is MicroSD card support for further storage expansion up to 128GB. The device comes pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 5.0 on top.
The Lenovo S5 Pro packs in 20MP primary front camera with Sony IMX476 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture. There is a secondary 8MP front snapper as well for I Portraits, 3D lighting etc. At the back side is a dual camera setup as well with LED flash. It consists of 20MP (F/1.8) + 12MP (F/2.6, 2X optical zoom) shooters.
The hardware gets energy from 3500 mAh battery. Fast charging is also supported. Connectivity wise, it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C etc.
