Lenovo unveils Tab M7 (3rd Gen) and Tab M8 (3rd Gen) for Europe

Lenovo has introduced two new tablets its its Tab M Series called Tab M7 (3rd Gen) and Tab M8 (3rd Gen). These share several similarities.

The Lenovo Tab M7 (3rd generation) comes with 7-inch IPS LCD TDDI display boasting 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and delivers 350nits brightness. The Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd generation) offers an 8-inch IPS LCD TDDI screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and 350nits brightness.

Their Wi-Fi only variant is powered by 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT8166 processor while their 4G LTE models come with MediaTek MT8766 chipset inside.

The Tab M7 3rd Gen has 2GB RAM, 32GB eMCP storage and MicroSD card support for further storage expansion. It has 3750mAh (typical) battery which offers up to 10 hours of video playback. For optics, it has 2MP front and 5MP rear shooter.

The Tab M8 3rd Gen has 2GB / 3GB RAM options with 32GB storage space and includes MicroSD card support as well. It has same 2MP front and 5MP rear shooter but includes a slightly larger battery offering up to 15 hours of video playback.

The 3rd generation Lenovo Tab M8 has a model with smart charging station which houses dual front facing speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones. The Model without smart charging station comes with front facing speaker (Dolby Atmos supported) and a single microphone.

The 3rd Generation Lenovo Tab M7 measures 176.18 x 102.28 x 8.3 mm and weighs 237 grams. It has single speaker with microphone and offers Dolby Audio. 3.5mm audio jack is also present.

For connectivity, these have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB V2.0 and GPS/GLONASS. These run on Android 11 OS out of the box.

The Lenovo Tab M7 (3rd Gen) price is €119 (US$ 142 / Rs. 10,550 approx.) and comes in Iron Grey colors. It will start rolling out in June itself. The Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd Gen) prices were not revealed. However, it is said to land in selected markets later this year.
