LG G5 and V10 smartphones gets approval for Enterprise and Military use in US

Korean smartphone maker LG has today announced that it’s G5 and V10 smartphones have been approved by U.S. National Information Assurace Partnership (NIAP) for compliance in meeting international security standards in corporate environments.
NIAP administers the globally recognized Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) for evaluating security conformance with the Common Criteria international standard. NIAP certification is recognized by the governments of 25 Common Criteria member countries such as Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

LG G5 sports 5.3-Inch Display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 processor, Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage and 2800 mAh battery. The phone is equipped with dual camera on the back (16MP + 8MP) coupled with secondary 8MP camera on the front. It runs on Androids 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
LG V10 on the other hand houses 5.7-Inch 2K Display, Snapdragon 808 processor, Adreno 418 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes in 32GB / 64GB storage variants and allows further expansion up to 200GB. The mobile runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Android 6.0) and features 16MP rear camera and 5MP duo front shooter. It has 3000 mAh Li-Ion removable battery with fast charging.

Both of these flagship phones makes use of LG’s GATE (Guarded Access to Enterprises) Technology, an enhanced platform, network and application security for reliable access to enterprise data. It provides Anti-hacking security solutions and mobile device management systems for enterprise mobiles.
These two smartphones also makes use of Google’s Android for Work that further leverage’s the LG Gate network capabilities.
