LG G8s ThinQ with Snapdragon 855 launches in India for INR 36990

The LG G8s ThinQ smartphone is finally officially in India. It is a premium phone from LG which was unveiled at MWC earlier this year.

The smartphone is IP68 rated for water / dust resistance and complies with MIL-STD-810G durability. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.

The phone measures 155.3 x 76.6 x 7.99 mm and has weight of 181 grams. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS and houses stereo speakers with DAC.

The LG G8s ThinQ features in 6.2-inch multi-touch FullVision OLED display with 2248 x 1080 pixels resolution at about 19.5:9 spect ratio.

Inside is octa-core Snapdragon 855 mobile platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 ROM and MicroSD card support for further expansion up to 2TB.

The LG G8s ThinQ specs include 12MP (F/1.5, 1.4um, 78-degree lens, OIS) + 13MP (137-degree super wide angle, F/2.4, 1.0um) + 12MP (telephoto, F/2.4, 1.0um, 45-degree lens) triple camera setup which are horizontally aligned at the back side. The front side houses 8MP shooter with F/1.9 aperture, 80-degree lens, 1.22um pixels. There is a 3D TOF sensor at the front as well.

The smartphone is powered by 3550 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), GPS and 3.5m Audio Jack.

The LG G8s ThinQ price is Rs. 36,990 and comes in Black color only. The smartphone is already available in India at Amazon.in for Rs. 35,990.
