LG had unveiled K8 (2017) smartphone back in April. Now, the smartphone is reportedly available in India.
A Mumbai based retailer is selling LG K8 (X240i) cell phone for Rs. 9,999 (US$ 156 approx.). The retailer has also revealed that the handset carries MRP of Rs. 11,000 (US$ 171 approx.).
The LG K8 specs sheet include 5-inch In-Cell IPS display with 2.5D glass. It has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 293ppi pixel density, 66.6% screen-to-body ratio and supports multi-touch.
The device measures 147.1 x 72.5 x 8.2 mm and weighs about 144 grams. It has fingerprint sensor at the back and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The LG K8 2017 (X240i) features a 5MP selfie camera with F/2.4 Aperture, 1/5-inch Sensor size and 1.12 micron pixels. On the rear is a 13MP primary shooter with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, 1/3-inch sensor size, 1.12 micron pixels, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support.
Usual connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, NFC, MicroUSB V2.0, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio Jack are supported as well.
