Choosing a smartphone is a complex process. Many users not only consider specifications of phone or its brand but also takes into consideration on how fast a smartphone gets updates.
Korean giant LG highly considers all the aspects of choosing process, with special emphasis on delivering faster smartphone updates to its LG Smartphone users. To show its commitment of delivering stable and consistent upgrades and to prove that LG cell phones have long and reliable life spans, LG Electronics has opened its new Software Upgrade Center in South Korea.
The Software Upgrade Center is located in LG’s new research and development campus in Magok-dong, western Seoul. It is first facility which is aimed at providing its world wide customers with faster, timelier smartphone OS and software updates.
The facility will allow LG to roll out OS updates faster in countries where LG mobiles are available. Moreover, it will also ensure that customers globally receive the same level of quality service.
The LG Software upgrade center is slated to roll out Android Oreo updates for LG G6 later this month. The updates will be initially released in Korea and will follow in other key markets soon.
