LG Q7 Series officially announced – Specs, Availablity

LG has officially announced its new Q Series smartphones. They include LG Q7, Q7+ and Q7α. They are successors to last year’s LG Q6 Series.
All of these handsets are IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. Moreover, they also comply with MIL-STD 810G certification, making them usable even in harsh environments.
They also come with QLens, an useful AI Camera feature which is only available in LG’s premium smartphones. It makes use of AI Technology for image recognition, image searching and enhancing online shopping experience (by performing image search).
The LG Q7, Q7 Plus and Q7 Alpha smartphones are powered by Android 8.0 Oreo OS. They pack in 5.5-inch FHD+ display (2.5D arc glass design) and comes with either 1.5GHz or 1.8GHz octa-core chipsets.
While LG does hasn’t revealed their pricing, company does say that LG Q7 is the first smartphone in its price range to offer DTS:X for virtual 3D surround sound (up to 7.1 channel audio via headphones.  The Q7+ comes with Hi Quad-DAC for even richer sound.

The LG Q7 and Q7 Plus come sin Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet colors. The LG Q7 Alpha (Q7α) comes in Moroccan Blue colors. The LG Q7 series will first land in Europe in June and will later roll out in American and Asian markets. Pricing details were not revealed.
