LG Q8 released in South Korea

LG Electronics has officially released its latest Q Series smartphone in Korea called LG Q8. It was first spotted in Italy, back in July 2017.
It has IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It can survive in up to 1 meter water depths for 30 minutes. It has fingerprint sensor at the back for added security.
The LG Q8 features a 32-bit ESS SABRE ES9218 Quad DAC that reduces noise by up to 50% when compared to single DAC, B&O audio and High AOP Mic. The phone measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 146 Grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Smartphone packs in 5.2-inch IPS Quantum Display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with 570ppi pixel density, Corning Gorilla glass 4 and supports multi-touch. There is a secondary 2.1-inch IPS Quantum display (160 x 1040 pixels) with 513ppi pixel density.
LG Q8 image 2The LG Q8 specs also include quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 mobile platform with Adreno 530 GPU. IT has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB UFS ROM and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
The handset is powered by 3000 mAh built-in battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 as well.  It has is an 5MP front camera with 120-degree wide angle lens for selfies. On the back side is 16MP ( F/1.8 aperture, 78-degree lens, Laser AF, OIS, 4K video) + 8MP (/2.4 aperture, 135-degree lens) dual rear cameras with LED Flash.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi  Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2 BLE, NFC, USB T2.0 Type-C, GPS  etc.
The LG Q8 price is Korea is set at KRW 616,000 (US$ 546 approx.) and comes in Sweet Pink and Urban Titan colors. The handset will be available from August 25th.
