LG V30+ officially launched in India

LG has officially launched V30+ smartphone in India at an event held in New Delhi. It was introduced in Korea back in September while its first unveiling took place at IFA 2017.
Recapping its specs, the handset features in 6-inch P-OLED Full Vision display with 2880 x 1440 pixels Quad HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, 538ppi pixel density and multi-touch support.
It is an Always-On Display (AOD) and sports a floating bar, which is customizable for up to five applications for quick access. Additionally, there is face recognition, voice recognition and fingerprint sensor for added security.
Under the hood is and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.0 ROM and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
The handset is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. It also complies with MIL-STD 810G standards, making it an extremely durable smartphone. It measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 73 mm and weighs 158 grams.
The LG V30 Plus specs include 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture and 90-degree wide angle lens. A the back side is dual camera setup with dual-tone LED Flash. The primary rear camera is a a 16MP standard angle shooter with F/1.6 Aperture and 71-degree lens. The secondary rear camera with is a 13MP wide angle camera with F/1.9 Aperture and comes with 120-degree wide angle lens.
The smartphone is powered by 3300 mAh battery capacity with Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS with UX 6.0+ and should be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo in future.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE (LTE-A 4 Band CA), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0 BLE, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), NFC etc. It also comes with 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, which is powered by EES Technology’s SABRE ES9218P.
The LG V30+ price in India is set at Rs. 44,990  and comes in Cloud Silver, Aurora Black, Lavender Violet adn Moroccan Blue colors. The mobile also comes bundled with B&O Play earphones.
The smartphone will be available online exclusively at Amazon.in starting December 18th. Company is also offering free wireless charger for first 2000 buyers. LG is also giving one time free screen replacement for 6 months.
