LG V30 Signature Edition with 6-inch QHD+ OLED display, 6GB RAM announced

LG announces a new smartphone in its ‘SIGNATURE Series’ in Korea. The handset is called LG V30 Signature Edition. It is made out of premium materials like Zirconium ceramic back (prevents scratches). Interestingly, customers can also engrave their name at the rear side.
The phone measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm and weighs 158 grams. It is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with LG UX 6.0+. It has 32-bit Advance Hi-Fi Quad DAC for enhanced sound.
Just like LG V30, the LG V30 Signature Edition specs include 6-inch OLED Display with 2880 x 1440 pixels (QHD+) Resolution, 538ppi pixel density, 18:9 aspect ratio and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for added scratch resistance.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 6GB LPDR4X RAM, enough to offer smooth multi-tasking. The device sports 256GB UFS 2.1 storage space and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
The mobile features in dual rear cameras. Primary rear camera is a 16MP shooter with 71-degree wide angle lens, F/1.6 aperture and supports Laser AF, OIS, EIS and PDAF. The secondary rear camera with 13MP snapper and comes with F/1.9 Aperture, 120-degree wide angle lens and dual-tone LED Flash. On the front side is a 5MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture and 90-degree wide angle lens.
This LG phone is powered by 3300 mAh battery capacity. It also supports Wireless charging and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0 (compatible with 3.1) and NFC.
The LG V30 Signature Edition comes in White and Black colors and will start selling later this month in Korea. Only 300 pieces of this cell phone will be made. Pricing details were not disclosed.
