LG V40 ThinQ with triple rear cameras surfaces ahead of October 3 event

LG’s latest flagship the V40 ThinQ has finally surfaced in press-render. The photo is made available thanks to famous tipster @evleaks.
The press shot revealed is of LG V40 ThinQ for AT&T carrier. You can make out the smartphone adopts to a notch design and packs in FullVision bezel-less display. The notch houses dual front cameras.
If you look at the sides, there are power button (right side), volume rockers and a dedicated Google Assistant button (both on left side). It has metallic frame as well.
At the back side is triple camera setup and just under it is a fingerprint sensor. The back also houses phone name, which is LG V40 ThinQ and lower bottom has LG logo.
According to the rumors, the V40 ThinQ is expected with 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution and is said to deliver 109% DCI-P3 color gamut. Also expect Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The handset will get processing power from octa-core Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It is also expected with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB (in V40+ ThinQ) with option for further expansion.
The rumors also hing 8MP + 5MP front cameras. Its triple camera makes up of 12MP + 16MP + 12MP shooters and houses dual-LED Flash. The handset is also expected to run Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box (with LG UX on top).
A 3300 mAh battery should power the hardware. Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC will be supported.
The LG V40 ThinQ launch event is scheduled for October 3rd at 5:00PM in NYC (2.30AM IST on October 4th). We can confirm the details once the smartphone is made official.
