LG has released stylish rugged smartphone at US Cellular called the X Venture. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. The handset is already available at AT&T.
The phone measures 6.06 x 2.98 x 0.37 inches and weighs about 5.87 oz. It has non-slip textured back, reinforced corners and metal frame. The device has IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It is also MIL-STD-810G rated for shock resistance.
The LG Venture X specs include 5.2-inch 1080p display that delivers true-to-life colors. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and comes with a special glove mode as well.
It has an octa-core (1.4GHz x 4 + 1.1GHz x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 2TB.
This rugged cell phone packs in 4100 mAH non removable battery. It also supports Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging, going to 100% in 100 minutes. The battery is said to offer up to 21 hours talk time and about 30 days 10 hours of standby.
