Maimang 10 SE 5G out in China, drops Huawei branding

Huawei has array of smartphones under its Maimang Series lineup. Latest one, the Maimang 10 SE 5G is now official in China. Notably, the handset comes without Huawei branding.

The Maimang 10 SE 5G is a dual SIM mobile with support for 5G. The mobile has dimensions of 163.93 x 75.79 x 8.95 mm and weighs about 198 grams. It has plastic back cover and houses a fingerprint sensor at side.

The smartphone houses a 6.5-inch LCD display (unknown resolution) with 20:9 aspect ratio. Its screen offers 60Hz refresh rate and boasts 89.3% screen-to-body ratio. It has a tear-drop notch which houses an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 aperture.

At the back side is a triple camera setup consisting of 13MP (main, F/1.8) + 2MP (macro, 4cm shots, F/2.4) + 2MP (F/2.4) shooters and LED Flash. Its main shooter can also record 1080p videos.

The Maimang 10 SE 5G specs include octa-core Snapdragon 480 5G mobile platform with 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage space. Powering inside is a 5000mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging support. Its battery is claimed to offer up to 29 hours of voice calling or up to 21 hours of web browsing or 16.6 hours of online gaming or up to 23 hours of online video playback.

The mobile runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The Maimang 10 SE 5G is priced in China at 1899 Yuan ($292 / Rs. 21,950 approx.) and comes in Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue and Galaxy Purple colors. It will go on sale in China from July 24th. [source]
