Social Network is not just limited to Facebook or Twitter. Orkut Büyükkökten, creator of long axed Orkut has introduced new type of Social Network called “Hello”.
It is not just a typical social network, It mainly focuses on images that allows one to add backgrounds, filters, texts and comments. Users also get rewards like coins and “expressions” to users that frequently participate.
Hello is the first social network built on loves, not likes
The Hello Social Networking app basically asks one to choose “personalities or Personas” (Techie, Geek, Clubber, Photography etc.) and then find similar people with same likings / personas. It also has a dedicated algorithm that suggests similar friends and news stream.
This new social network is headquartered in San Francisco and has development office in Mountain View, California. The makes up of currently 20 team members.
Hello can be downloaded in smartphones both in iOS and Android, however it is limited to certain countries for now.
