Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro announced – Specs, Price

Meizu has officially announced its latest Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro smartphones in China. These come with 3D ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor which unlocks in 0.1 seconds.

The Meizu 18 / 18 Pro both feature in octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU, Hexagon 780 DSP AIE engine and Spectra 580 ISP. The run Flyme 11 OS which is based on Android 11.

Both cellphones have dual Nano slots with 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE support. They have dual stereo speakers but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack (supports USB Type-C audio).

The Meizu 18 and 18 Pro come in several RAM and storage options. They are offered in variations of 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage or 12GB RAM with 256GB ROM.

Now, coming to the differences, the Meizu 18 features in 4000mAh battery with 36W fast charging support. It has 20MP front camera coupled with Triple rear cameras. These include 64MP (main) + 16MP (ultra-wide) + 8MP (telephoto) lenses.

On the other hand, Meizu 18 Pro specs include a larger 4500mAh battery with 40W Super mCharge fast charging. It supports both wired and wireless charging and handles 10W reverse charging as well. The Pro model houses 44MP selfie camera while the back side includes 50MP (main) + 32MP (ultra-wide, macro) + 8MP (telephoto) + 0.3MP (tof) sensors.
