Meizu announces Charm Blue U10 and U20 smartphones in China

Meizu has announced two budget phones in China called the Charm Blue U10 and Charm Blue U20.
The U10 features in a 5-inch IPS display and is powered octa-core SoC. It comes in 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage space.  It runs on YunOS and houses mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor on the home button. The smartphone is equipped with 5MP front camera coupled with 13MP main snapper on the back with LED flash. The phone is powered by 2760 mAh battery.
The second phone, the U20 specs include 5.5-inch 1080p display, Octa-Core Processor and 2GB / 3GB RAM with 16GB / 32GB storage options. It has 5MP front facing camera while a 13MP snapper sits on the back. Like its younger cousin, it has fingerprint scanner on home button and runs on YunOS out of the box. The hardware is powered by 3260 mAh battery.
The U10 and U2 both support 4G LTE networks from China Telecom and China Unicom. Mobile payments via Alipay is also supported. It’s worth mentioning that they have double sided 2.5D curved glass design Both the mobiles will be available in Gold, Rose Gold and Black colour options.
The Blue Charm U10 16GB is priced at 999 Yuan (US$ 150) while the 32GB variant costs 1199 Yuan (US$ 165). It will be available at Meizu store from September 18 while the Meizu Mall, Jingdong Mall, Lynx Official Flagship Store and Tesco will get stocks from September 19th.
The Blue Charm U20 16GB variant will cost 1099 Yuan (US$ 165) while the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage model is priced slightly higher at 1299 Yuan (US$ 195). The smartphone will go on sale at Meizu stores from August 28 and can be bought at Meizu Mall, Jingdong Mall, Lynx Official Flagship Store and Tesco on August 29th.
