Meizu M6s with metal-body, side-mounted fingerprint sensor announced

Meizu expands its mid-range smartphone offering with its latest handset called Meizu M6s. The mobile is introduced in China as Meizu S6.
It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Flyme OS 6.2. It has Dual SIM slots and support 4G VoLTE as well.
Internal hardware makes up of Hexa-core (2GHz A73 x 2 + 1.6GHz A53 x 4) Samsung Exynos 7872 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB storage options and allows further expansion up to 128GB as well using MicroSD card.
The Meizu M6s / S6 specs include 5.7-inch in-cell 2.5D glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution. It has 18:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, delivers 450nits brightness and supports multi-touch.
The device measures 152 x 72.54 x 8 mm and weighs about 160 grams. It has metal body and is equipped with side-mounted mBack fingerprint sensor (unlocks in 0.2 seconds and is customizable).
The hardware is juiced up by 3000 mAh (typical) / 2930 mAh (minimum) battery.18W Fast charging is also supported, claiming to go from 0% to 30% in 15 Minutes.
The Meizu M6s features in 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture for selfies. At the back is a 16MP primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, CMOS Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 5P lens.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONass etc.
The Meizu M6S (Meizu S6) price starts at 999 Yuan (US$ 155 / Rs. 9930 approx.) for 32GB variant and 1199 Yuan (US$ 185 / Rs. 11,900 approx.) for 64GB model. The cell phone comes in Moonlight Silver, Matte Black, Champagne Gold and Cobalt Blue colors. It will be up for order starting today and will go on sale from January 19th.
