Meizu Watch with Snapdragon Wear 4100, 4G announced

Meizu has officially unveiled its latest smartwatch in China called Meizu Watch. It is also company’s first every smartwatch to launch.

The Meizu Watch, for starters run on Flyme for Watch which based on Android OS. It comes with eSIM support and allows 4G calling at all major carriers in China. The smartwatch has dimensions of 46 x 38.4 x 11.5 – 12.97 mm and weighs about 43 grams (without strap) / 69 grams (with strap).

The smartwatch is swim proof and comes bundled with a speaker and microphone for calling. It has 1.78-inch AMOLED touch display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The screen offers 368 x 448 pixels resolution at 326ppi pixel density and offers up to 500nits of brightness. It supports 100+ watch faces to suit your needs.

The Meizu Watch feature Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform inside. It is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of built-in storage space. The smartwatch is compatible with Android and HarmonyOS smartphones and includes AICY assistant.

The Meizu Watch includes a fingerprint sensor for tracking heart beats. It can also show heart rate abnormalities. It also houses SpO2 sensor for checking blood oxygen saturation. Other sensors include accelerometer, Geomagnetic, Ambient light and barometer.

This Meizu Smartwatch offers 13 sports modes, sleep tracking, activity tracking and GPS support. It has detachable design for easy charging. Powering inside is a 430mAh (typ) battery capacity which offers up to 33 hours of battery life on 4G.

The Meizu Watch price is set at 1499 Yuan ($235 / Rs. 17,080 approx.) and comes in Blue and Black colors. It is already up for sale in China.
