Xiaomi has officially launched its latest smart band in India called Mi Smart Band 6. It comes with Black dial and has several strap options of Orange, Maroon, Ocean Blue and Light Green.
It has compatibility with devices powered by Android 5.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above. Xiaomi has also added compatibility with Mi Fit and Xiaomi Wear Apps.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 features and specifications
The Mi Smart Band 6 has dimensions of 47.4 x 18.6 x 12.7 mm and has weight of 12.8 grams. It has 5ATM water resistant rating and can easily handle water depths of up to 50 meters. The smartband uses Bluetooth V5.0 LE for connectivity with smartphones.
The Mi Smartband 6 has 1.53-inch 24-bit AMOLED color-touch screen with 152 x 486 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. The screen offers up to 450nits brightness and is covered with 3D scratch-resistant glass and Anti Fingerprint coating.
The band boasts 50% more screen space than Smart Band 5. It also supports customizable band faces and offers 80 watch faces to choose from. Once connected with cell phone, the Mi Smart Band 6 can show notifications of calls, messages, emails, social apps, weather and more.
The Mi Smart Band 6 feature in Photoplethysmography (PPG) / Heart rate sensor to keep tabs on heart beats. It also includes Blood Oxygen sensor (SpO2) to check Blood Oxygen saturation levels. additionally, it has 24-hour sleep tracking including REM and sleep breathing quality.
The Xiaomi Smart band 6 also offers 30 fitness modes which includes indoor / outdoor running / walking / cycling / fitness, elliptical machine, exercise, rope skipping, rowing machine, yoga, ice skating, HIIT, Stretching, Core training, Gymnastics, Pilates, Dance, Zumba, Stepper, Cricket, Bowling, basketball, table tennis, Volleyball, Badminton, Boxing and Kick Boxing.
This Mi Band 6 has six automatic fitness tracking which works with walking, outdoor running, outdoor cycling, treadmill, rowing machine and elliptical machine. There is Fitness tracking, Breathing training, Remote shutter control and sedentary reminder function as well.
The smartband also comes with Women’s health tracking (menstrual cycle) and PAI health analysis. It has Tri-axis accelerometer, Tri-axis Gyro pressure assessment sensor and Capacitive wear monitoring sensor inside.
Powering inside Mi Smart Band 6 is a 125mAh battery which Xiaomi claims to offer up to 14 days of battery life. It includes a magnetic charging connector for fueling the battery.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 price, availability, offers
The Mi Smart Band 6 price in India is Rs. 3,499 which is Rs. 1000 higher than its predecessor. It will go on sale from August 30th and will be available at Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. Users having previous generation Mi Smart Bands (1 to 5 versions) can avail discount of Rs. 500. Discount is available via notification on mi Fit app.
