Xiaomi expands its 4K TV lineup with the launch of its new MI TV 5X Series in India. It comes in 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch options.
Xiaomi Mi TV 5X Series specifications and features
The Mi TV 5X series comes with metallic bezel-less design with premium looks. At the back side is carbon-fiber finishing and includes a metallic stand. All the models come with Mi Voice Remote, far-field microphones and offers Hands-free Google Assistant support.
All Mi TV 5X 43″ / 50″ / 55″ models offer 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K resolution and 178-degree wide viewing angles. These have enhanced Vivid Picture Engine 2, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) support, HDR10/HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Regardless of the model, their displays deliver 94% DCI-P3 colors, 88% NTSC color gamut and 1 billion colors. They have Reality Flow and Auto Low Latency model with 6.5ms input lag (4K @ 60Hz).
The Mi TV 5X 50″ and Mi TV 5X 55″ models have 40W stereo speakers while its smaller counter part, the Mi TV 5X 43″ version houses 30W stereo speakers. These have support for DTS HD audio and Dolby Atmos. Xiaomi has also included new HDMI 2.1 via eARC for higher bandwidth audio.
Powering inside Xiaomi’s Mi TV 5X is quad-core (Cortex-A55) MediaTek MT9611 processor with Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. They come with 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. These Smart TVs are powered by Android 10 and includes PatchWall 4 AI. It has built-in Play Store and Chromecast. The new PatchWall 4 offers IMDB ratings for every movie and includes more than 75 free live channels. Its kids mode now comes with parental lock and safe search function as well.
All the Xiaomi Mi TV 5X models have support for Dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth V5.0, Optical, Ethernet, two USB port and three HDMI 2.1 ports (1 with ARC).
