Micromax IN Note 2 with Helio G95 SoC launched in India

Micromax expands its IN series lineup with the launch of its new smartphone called IN Note 2.

The device comes with an introductory price of Rs. 12,490 (Rs. 13,490 actual price) and has Black and Oak colors. It will go on sale in India at Flipkart from January 30th.

Micromax IN Note 2 Specifications and features

The cell phone has measurements of 159.9 x 74.3 x 8.34 mm and weighs just about 205 grams. It runs on Android 11 OS and is upgradable to Android 12 in future.

The In Note 2 offers dual SIM connectivity with its Nano Slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has side facing fingerprint sensor for secure authentication. The mobile has plastic build with shiny glass like finishing.

The phone feature a 6.43-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The screen offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 410ppi pixel density, 550nits brightness and 100% NTSC Color gamut.

The Micromax IN Note 2 specs include 2.05GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor with ARM Mali-G76 MP4 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The handset comes with dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB.

The smartphone comes with a punch hole that houses 16MP front facing fixed focus camera with F/2.0 Aperture. It has support for screen flash. At the back side are quad cameras consisting of 48MP (main, 79°, F/1.79), 5MP (115° wide-angle, F/2.2), 2MP (82°, depth, F/2.4) and 2MP (82°, macro, F/2.4) lenses.

The IN Note 2 from Micromax feature a 5000mAh (typical) battery and supports 30W fast charging. It can go from 0 to 50% in just about 25 minutes.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensor lineup includes e-Compass, Accelerometer, Proximity and Light sensors.
