Micromax has officially launched its first TWS earbuds in India called Airfunk 1 and Airfunk Pro. Both of these were announced alongside IN 2b smartphone.
The Micromax Airfunk1 price in India is set at Rs. 1299. It comes in Black, Blue, White, Yellow and Purple colors. The Micromax Airfunk 1 Pro price is set at Rs. 2499 in India. It has Black, White, Blue, Red and Yellow colors.
Both of these TWS earphones will go on sale at Flipkart and Micromax official site from August 18th.
Micromax Airfunk 1
The Airfunk 1 uses Bluetooth V5.0 for connectivity with all Bluetooth enabled devices. It has range of 10 meters. Each earbud comes with a single microphone with mic sensitivity of -42± 3dB. It has smart touch controls to play / pause, change tracks or receive or hang calls. It can also be used to launch voice assitants.
The Airfunk 1 has voice changing feature ( Male ↔ Female ) and offers 3D Stereo surround sound. There is an option of mono / stereo usage as well. The earbuds have dimensions of 65 x 25 x 27.6 mm with each earbud weighing just 4.4 grams. It has IP44 level water / sweat / dust resistant rating.
The Micromax Airfunk 1 features 9mm x 2 dynamic drivers. It has frequency response of 20Hz – 20KHz and speaker sensitivity of 95dB± 3dB. As far as battery goes, the earbuds are claimed to offer up to 5 hours of music playback on single charge, which is expandable to 15 hours with charging case. Talktime is claimed to be of about 4 hours while standby is 40 hours.
Micromax Airfunk 1 Pro
The earbuds have dimensions of 60.23 x 47.6 x 26 mm and weighs about 4 grams. It also comes with IP44 water, sweat and dust resistant rating.
The Airfunk 1 Pro features in 13mm x 2 dynamic drivers and is powered by Qualcomm QCC3040 Bluetooth Audio SoC to ensure optimum audio quality. It has Environmental noise cancellation and Qualcomm cV8.0 Noise and Echo cancellation.
The earbuds Speaker frequency response is 20Hz – 20KHz while the speaker sensitivity is 95dB± 3dB. Each earbuds have dual microphones with mic sensitivity of -42± 3dB. The Airfunk 1 Pro uses Bluetooth V5.2 (with aptX / AAC / SBC codecs) for seamless connectivity and has range of 10 meters.
The earbuds are claimed to offer up to 7 hours of music playback. With case, it is extended to 32 hours. Total standby time is slated to be 750 hours. It has USB Type-C port for charging (1.2 hours charging time).
