Microsoft has just announced its Surface Laptop 3 notebook. It comes in 13.5-inch and 15-inch variant.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5-inch measures 308 x 223 x 14.51 mm and weighs 1.31KG for Matte Black model and 1.25Kg for Platinum and Cobalt Blue variant. It has 13.5-inch PixelSense multi-touch display with 2256 x 1504 pixels resolution at 3:2 aspect ratio. This particular model comes with 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G7 OR Core i7-10657 Processor options with Iris Plus Graphics 950.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 15-inch on the other hand has dimensions of 339.5 x 244 x 14.69 mm and weighs 1.54 Kg. It has 15-inch PixelSense display (10-point multi-touch support) and offers 2496 x 1664 pixels resolution at 3:2 aspect ratio. At its core, you get AMD Ryzen 5 3580U Mobile Processor with Radeon Vega 9 Graphics (Microsoft Surface Edition). It can also be configured with AMD Ryzen 7 3780U mobile processor with Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics (Microsoft Surface Edition).
Both of these laptops run on Windows 10 OS. They come in options of 8GB / 16GB LPDDR4X (3733MHz) RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB SSD options (with Removable M.2 NVME SSD). These also come with 720p front camera with F/2.0 Aperture.
Both of these Surface Laptop 3 models offer 11.5 hours of battery life. They support fast charging going up to 80% in just 1 hours of charging. They come with Dual far-field microphones (studio), Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium. They come with TPM chips for Enterprise-grade protection with Windows Hello face sign-in.
In terms of connectivity, they have Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 1 x USB-C, 1 x USB-A, Surface Connect and 3.5mm audio jack. They have Ambient light sensor as well.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13-inch price is $999 (Rs. 71,150 approx.) while the Surface Laptop 3 15-inch price is $1199 (Rs. 85,350 approx.). They are up for pre-order in select markets.
