Microsoft Surface Pro X (2020) officially unveiled

Microsoft has unveiled its latest Surface Pro X (2020) along side Surface Laptop Go. It is a thin lightweight device with weight of just 774 grams.

It has Signature anodized aluminum casting with carbon composite fanless thermal cooling. It also comes with Nano Sim and eSIM Support and allows up to Gigabit LTE Advaced Pro3. It is possible thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon X24 LTE modem.

The Microsoft Surface Pro X (2020) features in 13-inch PixelSense display with 2880 x 1920 pixels resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 267ppi pixel density and 10-point multi-touch support.

Under the hood is Microsoft SQ 2 processor with 8GB / 16GB LPDDR4X RAM options. It comes with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB removable SSD drive options. The battery inside gives about 15 hours of typical usage.

The Microsoft Surface Pro X 2020 comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home (on ARM) and Microsoft 365 Family (30 days trial). It has 5MP front facing camera and supports Windows Hello face authentication. At the back side is a 10MP auto focus shooter capable of recording 4K videos.

Microsoft has included 2W stereo speakers and dual far-field microphones. It has Firmware TPM chip for enterprise level security and BitLocker support. There is Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth V5.0 as well. It has USB-C (x2), Surface Connect and Surface Keyboard port.

The new Microsoft Surface Pro X (2020) price starts at $1499.99 for 16GB/256GB model and goes up to $1799.99 for 512GB storage variant. It is already up for pre-order at Microsoft.com. Microsoft has also introduced several accessories for new Surface Pro X which includes Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard, Microsoft Number Pad, Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter, Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse and Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse.
