Microsoft unveils new Surface Pro Tablet (UPDATED)

Microsoft has introduced a new Surface Pro Tablet at an event held in Shanghai, China. It does lack meaningful innovations but offers some upgrades over its predecessor.
The new Surface Pro tablet could launch in market as Surface Pro 5. It has ‘next generation hinge’ and has array of accessories to go with, which are sold separately. They Include Surface Dial, Pen and Type Cover.
It can convert into different modes according to users preference. Moreover, there is a Next Generation Surface Pen as well. It has 4096 levels of pressure, tilt sensitivity  to offer optimum experience.  Microsoft also unveiled Alcantara Keyboards, which will be available when new Surface Pro Tablet launches in markets.
The slate is beautifully crafted and is lightest till date, weighing in at just 1.7lb. The battery inside offers up to 13.5 hours of usage. At its heart is a powerful Intel Core i7 7th Generation processor options (Core m3 and Core i5 (both fanless), Core i7).
The Microsoft new Surface Pro Tablet also supports LTE Advanced (will come later this year). It runs on Windows 10 OS and includes Windows Hello as well. The tablet has 12.3-Inch enhanced color Pixel Sense display with 2736 x 1824 pixels resolution, 267ppi pixel density and 3:2 aspect ratio.
The Core M3 Model will have 4GB RAM, 128GB flash storage and Intel HD Graphics 615 GPU.
The Core i7 variant will have 4GB RAM with 128GB storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM and Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU.
The premium Core i7 model has three options of 8GB / 16GB / 16GB RAM with 128GB / 512GB / 1TB storage. They have Intel IRIS Plus Graphics 640 GPU inside.
Microsoft has also managed to include 5MP selfie camera and 8MP primary snapper at the back. Both of them can record 1080p videos. It also comes with 1.6W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium for optimum sound.
Connectivity wise, it has one USB 3.0, one Mini DisplayPort, MicroSDXC card reader, Surface Connect and Headphone jack. Sadly there is no USB-C or Thunderbolt port.
The New Surface Pro price starts at $799.99 for base model and will be up for pre-order today. The new Surface pen will go for $99. Its Alcantara wrapped Signature Type Covers will go for $129 and comes in Cobalt Blue, Burgandy and Platinum color options. You can get Surface Dial for an additional $99.
