Moto E6 Plus budget phone goes official

Motorola along with One Zoom has also announced a new ‘E Series’ smartphone called Moto E6 Plus. It comes with slightly improved specs than Moto E6 which was announced back in July.

The Moto E6 Plus is a dual SIM smartphone powered by Android 9.0 Pie OS. It has P2i water-repellent nano coating, measures 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.6 mm and weighs 149.7 grams. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The smartphone features in 6.1-inch Max Vision IPS display with 1560 x 720 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. You get a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 (650MHz) GPU.

The Moto E6 Plus specs include 2GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB storage options. The device supports further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card. Inside is a 3000mAh battery.

In terms of cameras, it has 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture for selfies. At the back side is 13MP (F/2.0 aperture) and 2MP dual shooters along with LED flash. The handset supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0 and GPS.

The Moto E6 Plus price starts at €139 (US$ 153 / ₹11,080 approx.) and comes in Bright Cherry, Polished Graphite, Rich Cranberry and Caribbean Blue colors. The cell phone is already up for sale in Latin America and will come to Europe in September. Asia Pacific markets will get the handset as well.
