Moto G (4th Gen) and Moto G4 Plus specs surfaces

Lenovo owned Motorola is expected to unveil its latest mobiles under its Moto Series phones named the Moto G (4th Gen) and Moto G / G4 Plus. Company has scheduled an event on May 17th in India where company is expected to announce both of the phones.
Both of these phones are codenamed Athena according to Zuba listing. Motorola has also started teasers of these phones on Social media. The Moto G / G4 Plus carries model number XT1643.
According to the rumours, The Moto G (4th Gen) or Moto G4 is expected to have 5.5-Inch Display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass for scratch resistance. A 1.2GHz Octa Core 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937)  Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 505 GPU should power the handset.  The mobile is said to have 2GB RAM, 16GB storage ROM and MicroSD Card for further expansion.
The phone is said to be water resistant, houses Dual SIM (optional) and supports 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. Other rumoured specs include 5MP OmniVision OV5693 Camera on the front and 13MP man snapper on the back with Dual-Tone LED Flash, Laser AF and 1080p video recording capabilities. It should have 3000 mAH battery and support for Wi-Fi, BLuetooth V4.2, GPS, Optional NFC and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Moto G / G4 Plus on the other hand is rumors to have save 5.5-Inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass protection, 1.2GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 430 processor, 5MP front camera,16MP main camera and 3000 mAh battery inside. According to chatters in Tech Community, the mobile should have 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage ROM and MicroSD card slot for further expansions. Features like Water Resistance, Fingerprint sensor, Optional Dual SIM, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, Optional NFC, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack should be present as well.
Official details of Moto G (4th Gen) and Moto G or G4 Plus will be available on May 17, 2016, at the time of launch.
