Moto has just announced two new smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event called Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.
Both of them has Dual SIM slots, supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. They have front-ported loud speakers and Water repellent nano-coating.
Moto G5
The smartphone measures 144.3 x 72 x 9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 Grams. It has 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.
Under the hood is a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 2GB / 3GB RAM options with 16GB internal storage memory. It allows further expansion up to 128GB as well.
The Moto G5 Specs also include 5MP front camera with Omnivision OV5693 sensor. Ont the back side is a 13MP primary camera unit with dual-tone LED Flash, supports PDAF and 1080p video recording.
The hardware is powered by 2800 mAh battery with 10W rapid charging. Connectivity wise Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2 and GPS is supported as well.
Moto G5 Plus
The cellphone packs in a larger 5.2-Inch display with 1080p resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and supports multi-touch.
It has an upgraded 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 2GB / 3GB RAM variants with 32GB built-in storage. Its 4GB RAM model comes with 64GB storage ROM. MicroSD card up to 128GB are supported as well.
The Moto G5 Plus specs include 12MP main camera on the back. It has Sony IMX362 Sensor, F/1.7 Aperture, dual-tone LED Flash, supports Dual-Pixel Auto Focus and 4K video recording. On the front side is a 5MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture and Omnivision OV5695 sensor.
The mobile has dimensions of 150.2 x 74 x 7.9 mm and weighs 155 grams. It houses a 300 mAh battery with Turbo charging support. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 and GPS.
The Moto G5 and G5 Plus will be available from March 2017 in various markets including Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.
