Moto G8 Power Lite with Helio P35 SoC, Triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery announced [Update: launched in India]

Back in March, Moto G8 Power Lite was prematurely listed at Amazon. Now, company has officially unveiled the smartphone.

The Moto G8 Power Lite comes with a plastic body with gradient finishing at the back. It has a water repellent design and packs in a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.

The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch Max Vision display with HD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone boasts 87% screen-to-body ratio and is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC.

The Moto G8 Power Lite specs include 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage space, which is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It also includes a 5000mAh battery which supports 10W Rapid Turbo charging.

In terms of optics, there an 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a triple camera setup with combination of 16MP (main) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) shooters and LED flash.

Moto G8 Power Lite specifications

The Moto G8 Power Lite price is €169 (UD$ 183 / Rs. 13,970 approx.) and comes in Royal Blue and Arctic Blue colors. It will go on sale in Mexico and Germany in coming days. The handset will also roll out in other countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Update 21/5/20: Motorola has officially launched Moto G8 Power Lite smartphone in India. It is priced at Rs. 8999 and will be available at Flipkart from May 29th.
