Moto M announced with 4G VoLTE, 5.5-inch 1080p display, Helio P15, 4GB RAM and more

Lenovo has put an end to the leaks and rumors and has announced its new M Series smartphone in China called MOTO M. It has uni-body all-metal design and comes with water repellent nano coating. The rear panel is slightly curved and hosts a fingerprint sensor just under the camera.
The Moto M specs include 5.5-Inch Super IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well. It has 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor coupled with Mali-T860 MP2.
A 4GB RAM sits inside along with 32GB of built-in storage ROM. It is further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card. In terms of measurements, the cellphone has dimensions of 151.35 x 75.35 x 7.85 mm.
Inside is Dual SIM slots (nano + nano) and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE (voice over LTE). It has 8MP selfie camera equipped with 85-degree wide-angle lens. On the back side is 16MP main snapper with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and 1080p video recording support.
moto-m-official-photo-02The Moto M features in a 3050 mAh battery with Turbo Charging capabilities. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It also supports Dolby Atmos technology to ensure option 360-degree audio experience.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1 LE, USB Type-C, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Moto M is priced at 1999 Yuan (US$294 / €266 / Rs. 19,630) and comes in Silver and Gold color options. It can be ordered from Lenovo’s website, JD.com, Tmall and other online retailers from November 9th. The phone will go on sale from November 11th in China. There is no word on phone’s release date in global markets.
