Motorola has officially unveiled year 2022 iteration of its latest Motorola Edge smartphone. It is priced at $498 and comes in Mineral Grey color.
The Motorola Edge 2022 will initially go on sale at T-Mobile in coming weeks. It will also land at AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum Mobile, US cellular, and Visible.
The unlocked Motorola Edge (2022) will be available at Amazon.com, BestBuy and Motorola.com. For a limited time, it will sell at $499.99 while its official price is kept at $599.99.

It has a 6.6-inch OLED HDR10+ display that gives 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It has 10-bit color depth and boasts 91.32% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1050 processor ARM mali-G610 MC3 GPU. The chipset brings support for 5G (Sub-6 + mmWave). It has 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage space.
The Motorola Edge 2022 feature in 32MP front camera with F/2.25 aperture and support quad-pixel binning tech. At the back side includes 50MP (main, F/1.8, quad-pixel, OIS) + 13MP (ultra-wide, macro mode, F/1.5) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras along with LED Flash.
The cell phone itself measures 160.86 x 74.24 x 7.99 mm and weighs about 170 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The device itself is IP53 rated for water resistance.
Powering inside is a 5000mAh battery. There is support for 30W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. There are stereo speakers and triple mics.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC and GPS/GLONASS.
