Motorola Edge and Edge+ 5G smartphones with SD865, 12GB RAM unveiled

Motorola has announced two new 5G smartphones called Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+. These are powered by Android 10 OS and comes with My UX customization.

With My UX, users can turn on flash light with chop gesture or launch camera by simply twisting the wrist. The Motorola Edge Plus gets additional features for its side edge interaction, including advanced controls for gaming (shoulder buttons), Music and videos.

The Motorola Edge and Edge+ come with 6.7-inch OLED displays with FHD+ resolution and offers 90Hz refresh rate. They come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and houses 25MP front facing selfie camera.

The Motorola Edge features in octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC with 4GB / 6GB RAM options and 128GB internal memory. It has 4500mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. In terms of cameras, the mobile houses 48MP + 16MP + 8MP + ToF shooters at the back.

The Motorola Edge+ specs include octa-core Snapdragon 865 mobile chipset with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage space. It has a larger 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging and reverse charging support.

Motorola Edge Specifications

The Motorola Edge price is €699 (US$ 755 / Rs. 57,800 approx.) and comes in Midnight Magenta and Solar Black colors. it will initially go on sale in Italy followed by other European markets in coming weeks. The handset will also land in Latin America and regions of Asia Pacific. US markets will get it later this year.

Motorola Edge+ Specifications

The Motorola Edge+ price is $999.99 (RS. 75,450 approx.) in USA / €1,199 (US$ 1295 / Rs. 99,130 approx.) in Europe. The handset comes in Smokey Sangria and Thunder Grey colors. Those who want Edge+ with contract, you can get it on 24 month contract at $41.66 per month at Verizon, starting May 14th.
