Motorola Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion smartphones launched in India

Motorola expands its Moto G lineup with two new smartphones in India. These include Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion. Both of these share several similarities in terms of specifications with noticeable difference being their cameras.

The Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion both measure 169.6 x 75.9 x 9.8 mm and weigh 225 grams. They come with Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots and house a fingerprint sensor at back. Both have P2i water repellent coating as well.

These cellphones sport a 6.8-inch multi-touch HDR10 display with 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. They come with octa-core Snapdragon 732G mobile platform with Adreno 618 GPU.

The Moto G40 Fusion has option of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The Moto G60 has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. MicroSD card up to 1TB are supported.

The Moto G40 Fusion and Moto G60 house 6000mAh (Typ) battery capacity and supports 20W TurboPower fast charging. These have Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), VoWiFi, Bluetooth V5.0, USB type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack. These have Bottom ported loud speaker for audio.

The Moto G40 Fusion feature a 16MP front camera with with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are 64MP (main), 8MP ultra-wide macro) and 2MP (depth) cameras with LED flash. The Moto G60 specs include 108MP (1/1.52 Samsung HM2 sensor, F/1.7, 0.7um pixels, 7P lens) + 8MP (ultra-wide, 2.5cm macro, F/2.2) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras at back with LED Flash. It has 32MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture and LED Flash.

The Moto G60 price is Rs. 17,999 in India. It will go on sale online at Flipkart from April 27th. The Moto G40 Fusion 4GB/64GB model price is Rs. 13,999 while its 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 15,999. It will sell at Flipkart from May 1st. Both of these come in Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne colors.
