Lenovo’s Motorola has officially announced its latest flagship smartphone in China called Moto Edge X30.
Along with it, company has introduced Moto Edge X30 Special Edition that sports an in-display selfie camera (without a punch hole).
Motorola Edge X30 specifications and features
The cell phone offers Dual SIM connectivity with its Nano Slots and brings support for 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE. The handset has IP52 rating and offers protection against splashes.
The smartphone house a side mounted fingerprint for biometrics. It has Stereo speaker setup and supports Dolby Atmos. It lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack but allows USB Type-C Audio.
The Moto Edge X30 specs include 6.7-inch POLED display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. Its screen supports 10-bit colors, DCI-P3 colors, HDR10+ and offers 144Hz refresh rate. The display delivers >100000:1 contrast ratio, 500nits (normal) / 700nits (HBM) brightness and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Phone’s bezels are fairly slim and boasts 88.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The smartphone packs in an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform with Adreno next-Gen GPU. The SoC is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and comes in 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage option.
The Moto Edge X30 feature in 60MP front facing camera (placed inside punch hole) with OV60A40 sensor, F/2.2 Aperture and allows 4K video recording. The Special Edition of Moto Edge X30 comes same camera setup, which is placed inside phone’s display.
At the back side of this mobile phone are triple cameras with LED Flash. It has 50MP main camera with OV50A40 sensor, F/1.88 Aperture and OIS support. There is a second 50MP ultra-wide angle (114-degree) lens with S5KJN1SQ03 sensor and F/2.2 Aperture. There shooter is of 2MP with OV02B1B sensor and F/2.4 Aperture.
The mobile has dimensions of 163.56 x 75.95 x 8.49 mm and weighs 194 grams. It has a 5000mAh battery inside and supports 68W TurboPower fast charging. It can charge from 0 to 50% in just about 13 minutes.
The Motorola Edge X30 boots with Android 12 OS (with MYUI 3.0) out of the box. It has several wireless capabilities that allows you to stream mobile phone games on big screen or take video calls or use apps on desktop’s display. The handset brings 5G to PC and allows easy sharing of files.
In terms of connectivity, the cell phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and NFC.
