Motorola unveils Moto G72 in India, price is Rs. 18999

Motorola officially launched its latest Moto G Series smartphone in India called Moto G72. It is priced at Rs. 18,999 and comes in Polar Blue and meteorite Black colors.

The handset will go on sale in India at Flipkart starting October 12th. Buyers can avail Rs. 1000 instant discount with select bank, Rs. 3000 additional discount on exchange and Rs. 5049 worth benefits from Jio, Myntra and Zee5.

Moto G72 specs and features

This mobile phone offers hybrid dual Nano SIM slots with dual 4G VoLTE support. It has dimensions of 160.5 x 74.4 x 7.9 mm and weighs 170 grams. The device sports IP52 splash resistant rating.

The specs of Moto G72 include 6.55-inch pOLED display that gives 2460 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate,, 576Hz touch sampling rate and delivers up to 1300nits brightness. It has 10-bit colors with HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Notably, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

The cell phone packs in octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor with mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space, which further expandable using MicroSD card.

The Moto G72 feature in 16MP front camera with F/2.45 aperture. At the back side are triple cameras with LED Flash. These make up of 108MP main (f/1.7) + 8MP ultra-wide (f/2.2) + 2MP macro (f/2.4) lenses.

This device houses stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and comes with dual microphones. It is powered by Android 12 OS. Motorola has promised one OS update and three years of security updates.

The smartphone houses a 5000mAh battery and can deliver 33W turbo fast charging speeds. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.
