Motorola XT1970-5 with up to 12GB RAM certified in China

Motorola launched the One Vision smartphone in China as Motorola P50. Now, a new handset bearing model number XT1970-5 has been certified by TENAA.

The Motorola XT1970-5 shares similarities with One Vision / P50 in terms of specs and design however, certification authority has listed the phone with up to 12GB RAM.

Yes, this newly certified mobile comes in 6GB / 8GB / 12GB RAM options. These will have 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage respectively, which is further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.

The battery inside is of 3290 mAh (minimum) capacity and will support 15W Turbo fast charging. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS and will support Dual SIM.

The XT1970-5 has dimensions of 160 x 71 x 8.7 mm and weighs about 180 grams. It has 6.34-inch multi-touch display with 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution at 21:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood is 2.2GHz octa-core processor (probably Exynos 9609 SoC). TENAA hasn’t confirmed camera specs but if you look at the ones in One Vision / P50, they are 48MP and 5MP rear shooters along with 25MP selfie camera.

The smartphone will support Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The Motorola XT1970-5 will come in Black, Blue, Gold, White, Silver and Gray colors.
