Movado Connect is Android Wear 2.0 Smartwatch

Movado, a luxury mechanical watch maker is getting itself in to smartwatch business. At the Baselworld 2017 watch show, it revealed bits and pieces of its upcoming Movado Connect  smartwatch.
Company did not reveal much though, but from what it has, the Movado Connect is an Android Wear 2.0 powered smartwatch. Design wise, it high resembles to it mechanical siblings. It will have round dial with single button.
It comes with smooth edge-to-edge crystal and an ‘alwasy-on’ display. The smartwach will have access to thousands of apps, read / receive push notifications and will easily integrate with Google fit and health apps. Moreover, Connect will be compatible with Google Assistant for performing tasks, getting answers, directions and remainders.
It will come pre-loaded with custom watch faces, with its signature look, that is a single dot at 12 o’clock position. It will offer more than 100 dial variations. It brings tribute to Movado Museum Classic, which seems to be an inspiration for the Connect.
Movado did not reveal much details regarding the specifications of Connect. It will launch this fall with 5 men’s styles (strap or bracelet). Pricing will start from $495.
