New Xiaomi Mi Max 2GB RAM / 16GB storage variant launched in China

Xiaomi has already launched its Mi Max smartphones. The company launched the phone with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM options.
Now a lower end Xiaomi Mi Max variant with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage has popped up in Chinese markets. Few sellers started selling this new variant for 1224 Yuan but now, some retailers have listed the phone for just 1199 Yuan ($180 / €161).
The phone sports a 6.44-Inch touch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC (top variant houses Snapdragon 652), 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space. Other specifications are the same as its 3GB RAM variant.
