Nokia 3.1 Plus Android One smartphone launched in India

HMD Global has just launched its latest Android One smartphone in India called Nokia 3.1 Plus. It runs on plain Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie in future.
The phone measures 156.88 x 76.44 x 8.19 mm and has weight of 180 grams. It has dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. The phone sports metal-like matte finishing and a rear facing fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus specs include 6.-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and coems with toughened glass protection.
At the front side of the phone is an 8MP camera with F/2.2 Aperture for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a dual camera setup with LED flash which consists of 13MP (F/2.0) and 5MP (F/2.4) snappers.
Nokia-3.1-Plus-photo-1Under the hood, the Nokia 3.1 Plus features in 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor with IMC PowerVR GE8320 (650MHz) GPU. It has 2GB LPDDR3 RAM with 16GB eMMC 5.1 storage and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage options.
The phone is powered by 3500 mAh battery. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus price in India for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model is Rs. 11,499 (US$ 155 approx.) and comes in Baltic, White and Blue colors. The mobile will go on sale in India from October 19th via Nokia Online Stores and offline retailers. Airtel users can avail 1TB data with plans greater than Rs. 199 a month.
