Nokia 3.1 to go on sale in US from July 2

HMD Global has confirmed that Nokia 3.1 smartphone will be available in United States from July 2nd. It was first unveiled back in May.
The Nokia 3.1 is an Android One phone with Aluminum sides and diamond cut design. It is 8.7mm thick and weighs about 138.3 grams.  For now the device runs on Android 8.0 but is expected to get Android P in future.
In terms of specifications of Nokia 3.1, it has 5.2-inch multi-touch display with HD+ resolution and comes with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6750N SoC..
HMD Global will be launching 2GB RAM with 16GB storage model in the US. The device also allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card. There is a 13MP Auto Focus shooter at the back with LED. At the front side is an 8MP fixed focus shooter.
A 2990 mAh battery powers the hardware. Usual connectivity options including 4G VoLTE and 3.5mm Audio jack are present as well.
The Nokia 3.1 will be priced at US$ 159 + taxes and comes in Black/Chrome, Blue/Copper and White/Iron colors. The handset will be available from July 2 from Amazon and Best Buy.
