Nokia, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 has announced a new smartphone called Nokia 5. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box.
The phone has dimensions of 149.7 x 72.5 x 8.05 mm. It comes in Single / Dual SIM variants and houses 3000 mAh battery inside (non removable).
It has 3D shape back, made from a single piece aluminum. Interestingly, the antenna lines have been moved to top and bottom of the phone.
The Nokia 5 specs include 5.2-Inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has Sunlight visibility improvement and polarizer for enhanced viewing. It also comes with 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection.
The smartphone gets processing power from 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It is paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB as well.
It has Single speaker with Smart Amplifier (TFA9891). The cellphone also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The handset also comes with fingerprint sensor for added security. It has accelerometer, ambient light sensor, hall sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, NFC and e-compass.
