Flipkart and Nokia have come together and unveiled its first Nokia branded Smart Android TV in India. It falls under ‘Make in India’ and boots on Android TV 9.0 with Android TV Play Store.
This Nokia 55-inch smart LED TV features in 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and packs in Dolby Vision, MEMC technology and Intelligent Dimming. It is an HDR 10 screen with 178-degree wide viewing angles, 1200:1 static contrast ratio and 400nits brightness.
At its core is 1GHz PureX quad-core (Cortex-A55) processor with Mlai-450 MP4 GPU. You also get 2.25GB RAM and 16GB built-in ROM. There is a 24W bottom firing speakers and supports DTS Trusurround, Dolby Audio and audio optimizations by JBL.
The Nokia 55″ Smart TV also has support Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth and Ethernet. There are three HDMI (ARC) ports and two USB ports as well.
The Nokia Smart TV price in India is Rs. 41,999 and will be available at Flipkart from December 10th. Other models of Nokia Smart TV are also in works.
Some of the launch offers include Rs. 2000 discount on debit / credit cards and EMI transactions. It also comes with Flipkart complete TV protection (worth Rs. 999) which gives 3 years (1 + 2 years) protection against manufacturing defects and accidents.
