Nokia 7.1 goes official – Specs, Price, Availability

HMD Global has just announced its latest smartphone called Nokia 7.1. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie).
The smartphone measures 149.7 x 71.18 x 7.99 mm and has weight of 160 grams. It has 6000 series aluminum frame and makes use of dual-anodised diamond cut color edge. It has Hybrid dual-SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD) and supports dual 4G VoLTE.
The Nokia 7.1 specs include 5.84-inch PureDisplay which adapts to indoor and outdoor sunlight. It is an HDR 10 Supports SD to HDR real time conversion) screen with 2244 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 1000000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic) and 80% screen-to-body ratio.
Internal hardware consists of 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. The handset comes with option of 3GB LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage or 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Both variants allow further expansion up to 400GB using MicroSD card.
Nokia 7.1 photo -2The Nokia 7.1 features in 12MP primary RGB rear camera with ZEISS optics, F/1.8 Aperture, 1.28µm pixel size and dual LED Flash. There is a secondary 5MP monochrome camera with F/2.4 Aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. At the front side is an 8MP AI selfie camera equipped with 84-degree FOV, F/2.0 Aperture and Facial recognition.
The hardware is juiced up by 3060 mAh battery and supports USB Type-C fast charging. It is claimed to charge mobile from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. For sound, it has Nokia OZO audio.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Nokia 7.1 Price starts at €319 in Europe  and US$ 349 in United States for 3GB/32GB variant. The Nokia 7.1 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model costs €349.
