HMD Global had launched Nokia 8.1 last month in India. It initially came with 4GB RAM with 6GB Storage space. Now, company has launched 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant of Nokia 8.1 in India.
It has hybrid dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD) and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has dimensions of 154.8 x 75.76 x 7.97 mm and has weight of 180 grams. The device comes with rear facing fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The Nokia 8.1 specs include 6.18-inch Pure Display with 2246 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 96% NTSC color gamut, 500nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and delivers DCI-P3 colors. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood is an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 SoC with Adreno 616 GPU. This particual model has 6GB RAM with 128GB storage (mentioned above) however there is a 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage model as well. Storage is further expandable up to 400GB.
The Nokia 8.1 features in 20MP front facing selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 12MP primary rear camera with 1/2.55-inch Sony IMX363 sensor, F/1.8 Aperture, 1.4μm pixel size and supports OIS. There is a secondary 13MP rear shooter with ZEISS Optics and F/2.2 Aperture.
The hardware gets energy from 3500 mAh (typical) battery with fast charging support. Connectivity wise, it has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack. Nokia OZO Stereo recording is also present.
The Nokia 8.1 6GB/128GB model price in India is Rs. 29,999 and comes in Blue/Silver and Iron/Steel colors. It is already available at company’s official site and offline channels.
