HMD Global has just launched Nokia 8 flagship phone in India. The handset was first unveiled back in August 2017.
It has organic uni-body full Aluminum design and is made from a single block of 6000 series aluminum. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo in future. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in the country.
The smartphone measures 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm and comes with Splash-proof IP54 rating. It has fingerprint sensor for added security and includes barometer as well.
The Nokia 8 features in a 5.3-Inch LCD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels Quad HD resolution. It has 554ppi pixel density, 700 nits brightness and sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It has 3090 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging as well. The Nokia 8 specs also include 13MP front camera with ZEISS optics, 1.12µm pixel size, F/2.0 Aperture, 78.4-degree wide angle lens and Auto Focus capabilities.
The Nokia 8 is equipped with Dual-Sight technology. It uses front and back camera simultaneously and fuses both images in to a single picture or video. Additionally, the Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio makes use of 3 microphones and Nokia Acoustic technology algorithms to capture detailed sound.
The Nokia 8 price in India is set at Rs. 36,999 (US$ 565) and comes in Polished copper, Steel and Blue colors. It will be available online at Amazon.in from October 14, 2017.
