Nokia 8 announced with Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM, 13MP dual cameras

HMD Global has introduced its latest flagship Nokia phone called Nokia 8. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is upgradable to Android O in future.
The handset has measurements of 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm and comes in Single / Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slot options. It comes with fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Nokia 8 has full aluminum uni-body design and is made from a single 6000 series aluminum block. It undergoes a rigorous 40-stage process of machining, anodizing and polishing to ensure flawless distinctive design.
This Android Phone features in 5.3-inch LCD display with sculpted  Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen offers 2560 x 1440 pixels Quad HD resolution at 554ppi pixel density and delivers 700nits brightness.
The Nokia 8 specs also include an octa-core (2.5GHz Kryo x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 4GB DDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage and is expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
Talking about camera, it has 13MP front camera with display flash. It has F/2.0 Aperture, 1.12µm pixel size, 78.4-degree wide angle lens and supports PDAF.
On the back side is 13MP (color, OIS) + 13MP (monochrome) dual camera setup and dual-tone LED Flash. The rear one has ZEISS optics, F/2.0 Aperture, 1.12µm pixels,  76.9-degree wide angle lens, IR Range finder, PDAF and supports 4K Video recording.
The smartphone also uses Dual-Sight technology, that makes use of front and rear cameras simultaneously, fusing both the images in a video or photo. The handset also allows one to broadcast live directly to YouTube or Facebook from within the camera app itself.
There are 3 microphon which are used by Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio and Nokia’s Acoustic technology algorithm to capture detailed sound.
The Nokia 8 features in 3090 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 (5GBPS sped), NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
There are array of sensors as well, which include Ambient light, Proximity, Accelerometer, e-Compass, Gyroscope, Hall sensor and Barometer.
The Nokia 8 Price goes at €599 (US$ 700 / Rs. 45,000 approx.) and comes in Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Polished Copper and Steel colors. It will start shipping globally in early September. It will arrive in Indian markets by early October.
