Nokia 8 Sirocco Android One phone announced

HMD Global has officially announced its latest Android One smartphone called Nokia 8 Sirocco Edition. It has curved edges and reduced bezels and packs in a fingerprint sensor at the back.
In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 140.93 x  72.97 x 7.5 mm. It has IP54 rating which makes it splash proof. Moreover it has total of 3 microphones to ensure voice capture. The handset comes in Single / Dual SIM options and runs on Android 8.0 oreo OS.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco Edition specs include 5.5-inch POLED display with sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen offers 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 700 nits brightness and supports multi-touch.
Under the hood is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. It is paired with 6GB DDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space, which is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The cell phone features in 5MP front facing camera with 1.4µm pixels. At the back side is dual cameras with dual-tone LED Flash. First primary rear shooter is of 12MP and comes with 2L7 wide-angle lens, F/1.7 Aperture and 1.4µm pixels. There is a 13MP secondary rear camera with 3M3 Telephoto lens, F/2.6 Aperture, 1.0µm pixels, F/2.6 Aperture and 2X optical zoom support.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is powered by 3260 mAh battery with fast charging and Qi Wireless charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1 etc.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco price is set at €749 (US$ 920 / Rs. 59,530 approx.) and comes in Black color. The handset will be available in April 2018.
