HMD Global has launched a new Nokia G Series 5G mobile phone in India called Nokia G60 5G.

It is a dual SIM 5G smartphone (Nano + eSIM) and supports 5G NSA tech deployed by Indian telecom companies. It is compatible with Jio True 5G SA network and supports Carrier Aggregation for combining multiple frequencies.
It has dimensions of 165.99 x 75.93 x 8.61 mm, has weight of 190 grams and boast IP52 splash resistant rating. It has side mounted fingerprint sensor and is powered by Android 12 OS out of the box. Company is offering 3-years of OS updates, monthly security updates and 2-years warranty.
Notably, G60 is company’s most Eco-friendly G-Series smartphone till date. It is made with 100% recycled polycarbonate back and 60% recycled polycarbonate frame. Additionally, it comes with new packaging made using FSC-certified recycled content.
Talking about specs of Nokia G60 5G, it has 6.58-inch LCD display that gives 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 400nits (typ) / 500nits (peak) brightness and houses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
Powering inside this smartphone is an octa-core Snapdragon 695 mobile platform with Adreno 619L GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. It does allow further expansion up to 1TB using MicroSD card.
Camera features of Nokia G60 include 8MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 Aperture, which is placed inside a V-notch. At the back side is a combination of 50MP (main, F/1.8), 5MP (ultra-wide, F/2.0) and 2MP (depth, F/2.4) lenses and LED Flash.
The smartphone houses a 4500mAh battery and allows 20W fast charging (supports QC2.0, PD 3.0 protocols). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
Nokia G60 5G price in India and availability
The G60 costs Rs. 29999 in India and comes in Ice and Black colors. It is up for order at Nokia.com and leading retail outlets starting today. It will go on sale from November 7th and will land at several other retail counters and online portals from November 8th.
