Nokia unveils G20 in India with Helio G35 SoC

HMD Global has introduced a new Nokia G20 smartphone in India. It comes with Android 11 OS. Nokia has confirmed two years worth of software updates and three years of security update.

The Nokia G20 has Nordic design and sports measurements of 164.9 x 76.0 x 9.2 mm and weight of 197 grams. The smartphone has IPX2 splash resistant rating and comes with side mounted fingerprint sensor.

The mobile houses dedicated Dual Nano SIM slots and MicroSD card slot. It has dedicated Google Assistant button for easy access to voice assistant.

The Nokia G20 specifications include 6.52-inch V-Notch display boasting 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering inside is 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with IMG PowerVR Ge8320 GPU.

The mobile houses 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes in 64GB / 128GB (eMMC5.1) storage options. It has MicroSD card support up to 512GB. Powering inside is 5050mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The Nokia G20 feature an 8MP front camera while the back side houses quad-rear cameras with LED flash. It has 48MP (main, F/1.79), 5MP (ultra-wide), 2MP (depth, F/2.4) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4) shooters with OZO Audio support.

For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Nokia G20 4GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999 and comes in Night and Glacier colors. It will go on pre-order at Amazon.in from July 7th.
