HMD Global has officially launched Nokia XR20 rugged mobile phone in India. It was first introduced in European markets back in July.
Nokia XR20 specifications and features
The smartphone offers ruggedness and durability thanks to its MIl-STD-810H rating standards. It has sleek casing and comes with IP68 water resistant rating.
The XR20 feature a programmable button at top. It has side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics and a dedicated google assistant key at side. The mobile runs on Android 11 OS and offers dual SIM connectivity with its Hybrid Nano Slots.
The cell phone packs in 6.67-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. Its screen delivers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and offers up to 550nits of brightness. The display brings compatibility for usage wearing gloves and wet hands.
The Nokia XR20 specs include Octa-core Snapdragon 480 mobile platform with Adreno 619 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The handset supports MicroSD card up to 512GB for further storage requirements.
The device itself measures 171.64 x 81.5 x 9.1 mm. It has a loud stereo speaker offering 96dB output and supports OZO playback. Powering inside is a 4630mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 15W Qi wireless charging.
In terms of cameras, the mobile houses 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are dual cameras and LED Flash. These include 48MP (main ZEISS optics, F/1.79) and 13MP (123-degree wide-angle, F/2.4, OZO audio) cameras.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n28/n41/n66/n77/n78) / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2x2MIMO, Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/QZSS/NavIC and 3.5mm audio jack.
Price and availability
The Nokia XR20 is priced in India at Rs. 46,999 and comes in Ultra Blue and Granite Gray colors. It will go on sale at e-commerce platforms and leading offline retail stores from October 30th.
